Privacy Policy

Diamond Connect Baseball is Cory Shaver’s recruiting advisory for high school athletes and their families. We use the information you provide to deliver and manage the service you request, including optional profile sharing and family messages you authorize.

What we collect and why

Forms collect parent or guardian name, email, optional phone number, consent and typed signatures; athlete name, graduation year, school, team, city/region, positions, height, weight, academic information, public social handles, recruiting video links, and any background, measurements, videos or reports you choose to provide. We record submission dates, permission versions and dates, and payment status, amount and promotion code. Cory uses this information to review the athlete’s materials, deliver reports, manage purchases, and follow your permission choices.

Private information and service providers

Parent contact information is never posted publicly, sold, or shared with coaches, advertisers or data brokers. Cory can review private submissions. Cloudflare and the site hosting service store and process the website’s data and files; Google Sheets and email support submission records and delivery. These providers process necessary information to operate the requested service. This processing does not give anyone permission to publish parent contact information. No home address is requested by our intake forms.

Public profiles need consent and approval

A paid intake is private. A public directory listing requires separate parent or guardian consent and Cory’s approval. Free profile links also remain private until the family consents and Cory approves publication; edits require another review. After approval, anyone with access to the link can see the approved profile. Free profiles may include the videos and report files the family chose to share; paid-intake private reports stay private. Avoid including contact details or information you do not want shared in a public profile or its files. Public information can be copied by visitors.

Messages to families

If a parent separately opts in, visitors may send a message through a published player page. The website forwards that message to the parent without revealing their email address to the visitor. Rate limits help reduce misuse. Diamond Connect does not contact college coaches on a family’s behalf.

Optional social media permission

Social media permission is separate from service consent and public-profile consent. Leaving it unchecked does not affect your service. If granted, Cory may share the athlete’s videos, name, high school, graduation year, position, and labeled self-reported or session-captured metrics on Diamond Connect’s social channels. Contact information will never be posted. Withdraw permission by emailing diamondconnectbaseball@gmail.com; future posts will stop. Ask about removing existing posts too; we cannot control copies other people have made.

Payments

Stripe processes payment card information. Diamond Connect does not receive or store full card numbers. We store the payment details needed to confirm service and reconcile your purchase, such as status, amount paid and promotion code.

Cookie-free analytics

Our analytics count pricing views, intake-button clicks and checkout starts, completions and expirations. These are aggregate counts, without analytics cookies or personal contact details. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control preferences suppress the website’s visitor event collection. Private edit links and checkout recovery use browser storage to support the functions you request, separately from analytics.

Minors and family control

This service is intended for high school athletes and their families. For an athlete under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent to publish a profile. Do not submit a child’s information without authority to do so. We do not ask children under 13 to submit information directly. Contact Cory if information was submitted without the appropriate guardian’s permission.

Retention, corrections and deletion

We retain information as needed to deliver and administer the requested service and maintain necessary purchase records. To request access, a correction, removal from public view or deletion, email diamondconnectbaseball@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your authority before changing an athlete’s record. We will explain any payment records that must be retained. A free profile’s private edit link also lets the family update or remove it. Keep that link private.
